I want to transfer to a CSU. I am currently going to a communtiy college. Is there only a minimum amount of units that transfer? thanks|||It depends on the school that you're transferring credits to. For example, I know that my school will not accept upper level credits from a 2 year institution. Check out the registrar's page and see about their policies. Just go to the university's website and search for "registrar" or "transfer".
Here's the page from Colorado State University: http://registrar.colostate.edu/students/鈥?/a>
Here's what I found for California State University at San Marcos: http://www.assist.org/web-assist/welcome鈥?/a>
(I don't know which California university you were talking about, but it should be the same for all the different colleges if they are a part of CSU.)
I wasn't sure which college you were referring to, so I just looked up the first 2 that came up on google.|||Sometimes certain classes you take at one college wont count at another college, like low math classes (math 40 or 50) All of your units should transfer over unless that college doesn't accept certain classes for your degree or its a low class that's credits wont transfer over.|||Normally it is 50 or 60 that the 4 year will accept from a community college. Ask CSU for their specific policy. I would look it up for you but I don't know what CSU you mean.
