Does any bank other than Wachovia offer to transfer an amount to a savings account after each purchase?

I like the idea of forcing me to save money but with the merger with Wells Fargo, Im not sure if I want to open an account with them because they may discontinue that program.|||Just go with Wachovia. There's a bidding war to buy them now. Whatever bank ends up owning them will keep that program going for a while and, if it has been very successful for Wachovia, the new owners will continue it as well. I have it and I love it. I have saved quite a bit now as I signed up for it almost immediately when they first offered it and I do everything online. I also signed up for an additional transfer every month since the interest rate on this account is awesome.

Honestly, there's no reason for you NOT to do it.

Good luck.|||Bank of America has had their "Keep the Change" program for quite some time now. (Whether you want Bank of America as your bank is, of course, up to you.)

|||Its an awesome program, I do it now....one day nothing the next time you look at it you've $200 more than you had before! And ya didn't even notice!!!

Bank of America does something similar.

I wouldn't worry about them discontinuing it at Wachovia though.
