How to check the amount of data transfer i have used through internet ?

I have an internet connection (128 Kbps , 1 Gb ( data transfer limit ). To which type of downloads (free or payed) , the limit is applicable.|||Double click on connection in network connections in control panel. that will show data total uploaded and downloaded.|||Just right-click the 2 small monitors at your start-up items or the address bar. and click Status and all the data you need to know about the data transferred to your computer to the internet.
