I want to send a cheque to transfer amount from my saving a/c to my loan a/c. what name should i send?
i need to know should the name be my loan a/c number?|||Call your bank. But you can probably do it online, once you register. I do it all the time.|||What you are describing is a payment to your existing loan, using funds from your savings account. Since you are issuing a payment to your lender, the cheque should be made out to your lenders name (i.e. a bank, financial institution, etc...) it is recommended for you to include your Loan number on the memo section of a check, as banks often process large amounts of loans and you may have multiple loans with them, by placing the Loan number on the check you will avoid errors. Most banks do not allow you to transfer funds from a savings account to make a direct payment to a loan, as Federal Regulations, limit the number of withdrawals on a savings account as they are interest bearing accounts. Most likely, you will be better off issuing a cashiers cheque (bank cheque)from a bank after you withdraw fund from your savings account.
