Is it possible to transfer a parent PLUS loan to a different school, and change the amount at the same time?

I am transferring schools for next semester and I am going to still need a loan, but I'll need about 10,000 less. Can I change the school and the amount, but still keep the loan?|||Yes just go to the new schools fin aid office (add them as a school code on your fafsa) and then ask them what they need from you. Your parents are actually the ones that take out the parent loan so they would need to do all the signatures and things... you are not responsible for repaying a parent PLUS loan.|||Actually you cannot transfer the loan. You will have to cancel any pending disbursements from the old school, and reapply through the financial aid office or your lender for the new school. They will be 2 different loans. The new school will certify the amount you can borrow. And if it is a Parent Plus loan, your parent will have to reapply.
