One lady from Dakar Senegal (africa) is asking my help to transfer some amount to my account, should i help ?

I dont know what to do , is it legal or not, plz help, she said she is in some refugee camp in Dakar Senegal|||the "lady" does seem to be spending a lot of time writing emails lately. how do you suppose she got your email address if she doesn't know your name? one, she's probably not a lady, and she's probably not in Senegal. but, it's amazing how many people here on Yahoo still seem to think this is real. forget the millions "she" wants to share with you. it's fool's gold.|||Yeah well this "Girl"Just sent me a letter this week. Where did she get my e-mail address? Ok so she is the only orphan child of some high mucky muck who was murdered by some criminals and she has $4.5 M USD to transfere to my account. Do not get involved with this scam letter.

|||I didn't know they have computers with internet access in Refugee Camps!!!

Most people in other parts who are working very hard and making minimum wages are having issues having a computer at home, but wait, there is a refugee camp in Dakar where people have internet access. Awesome!

Look, regardless of how the economy looks like, think twice, why in the world would you have someone transfer money to your account. You give them your account information and the next time you check the account balance it'll be a big zero, if not already on the red!|||This question is posted here at least 2-3 times a week, this is a very busy lady. type "dakar senegal refugee" in the "Search for questions box" and you get almost 70 hits from people with different stories about being scammed, asked, or how to locate or verify...

This is a SCAM. They will steal your money.|||Absolutely! I've never heard of a scam coming out of Africa.

I can only hope that this is a joke and that people still aren't this stupid in 2009. And just in case you are that stupid, my first statement was sarcastic. If you give a random person in Africa your bank information, then you deserve to be taken of all your money.|||I can't believe people are so naive as to believe these scams

Out of the billions of people in the world, why would she pick YOU to share her millions with if she's never met you? Surely she would be living with thousands of people in the camp who really needed the money|||Yes you should..Give her your bank account number, your home address, drivers license number, and your social security number. You should do this just to make sure she gets that transfer help.|||No legitimate person/bank/auditor ever asks you to give them your information - they already have it. If they ask, they are crooks.|||first of all? there no camps in Senegal ,

second? read this to be reassured that this is a SCAM.

http://www.419scam.org/419-penpal.htm|||are you ******* crazy. this is the most obvious scam ever.|||You would be helping her out...she'll be able to buy a herd of goats with your money!!! I"m trying to sell a very nice bridge in NY...are you interested?|||NO! It's a scam.
